Jensen Button prepares to re-enact one of his favourite scenes from Star Wars, with a little help from BB8

UK children’s charity Barnardo’s has joined forces with the Star Wars movie franchise and Santander bank to encourage the Great British public to show the true power of the force.

Backed by celebrity supporters, racing driver Jensen Button and Star Wars actor Warwick Davies, the charity is asking the public to film themselves re-enacting some of their favourite scenes from the iconic movies and to upload a photo or video of the action to the campaign website: Santanderforceforgood.co.uk

As if being asked to pretend to be Obi Wan, Luke, Rey or Leia wasn’t enough, Santander has promised to donate £25 to Barnardo’s and to Together for Short Lives (another children’s charity) for every photo or video uploaded.

By entering their clips or videos, fans will also ensure they are in with a chance of winning some out-of-this-galaxy prizes including a trip to a Star Wars: The Last Jedi filming location in Ireland which will include a guided Star Wars experience.

The campaign will run until Friday 22nd December 2017 so don’t delay in entering your submissions and may the force be with you – always.

Warwick Davies shows fans just how they can join in the fun by recording his very own Star Wars re-enactment
