Our aim is to showcase hundreds of small to medium charitable organisations, to as wide an audience as possible, to ensure that their messages are heard loud and clear. This is done by sharing inspirational and engaging stories, told by those whose lives have been directly transformed by the charity's aid.

These stories are teamed up with our industry-leading, no-hassle donation technology. As one of the most versatile donation platforms around, we combine several methods into one seamless platform – allowing the supporter to safely and securely contribute to any cause of their choice, at their own convenience.

Q: Are the stories real?

Yes – all of the stories reported and shared on our site are genuine. Please note, however, that many of the case studies reported and shared on DonateToday contain content of a potentially sensitive nature (a person's health issues, for instance) – with this is in mind, names of people involved in the stories may have been changed to protect their privacy. 

For the same reason, the images used on our website are for illustrative purposes only, and could be of posed models, rather than the people mentioned in the articles themselves. Please see the credits and captions given with each image for further information on a particular image.

Q: Is donating the only way I can help?

No – sharing our stories across social media can help to increase the visibility of the cause, and may also encourage others to donate. You could also visit a charity's website for further information on what they do and getting involved with their work – whether this be through volunteering or other methods.

Q: How can I donate?

Our cutting-edge donation technology ensures that giving to the cause of your choice has never been quicker or more secure. We offer a range of options, so that you can select the donation method that best suits you. 

Mobile Billing – Charge to Mobile payments of a single or recurring donation are taken directly from your monthly phone bill or pay as you go credit.

Credit/Debit Card – Our platform accepts one-off donations of any amount from Visa, MasterCard and Amex cards.

Direct Debit – You can set up a Direct Debit in a matter of seconds to provide ongoing donations to a charity of your choice.

Apple Pay – Donors using Apple devices can also make donations via their credit or debit cards at just a touch.

Q: Can I set up regular giving to a charity using DonateToday?

Yes – via either the Mobile Billing or Direct Debits methods outlined above. Any recurring donations made can be cancelled at any time – you are in complete control of how much money you give and how regularly you give it.

Q: Does DonateToday charge any fees?

Our research shows that smaller charities can spend anywhere between 20-40% of their income on fundraising. Our aim is to lower this cost considerably, so that charities can spend more contributing to the causes they set out to help.

At DonateToday, we charge just 5% on donations made. This small rate covers processing fees, helps to maintain and improve the technology and services behind our innovative platform, and is cheaper than other platforms in the donation technology sector. In exchange, we support charities by providing them with a platform to get their voice heard and by spreading their message as far and wide as we possibly can - as well as providing background services, including one-to-one donor care and Gift Aid collection (of which charities receive 100%).

Q: How are my donations transferred to the charity?

We securely transfer all donations to the charities as soon as we receive this money from the donor.
